I created this delectable, yet incredibly easy, appetizer for a friend who loves olives. I have never personally cared for olives, so imagine my astonishment when I loved these myself!
1 11-oz. package refrigerated breadstick dough
24 Manzanilla (pimiento-stuffed) olives
1 cup shredded Cheddar-Jack cheese blend
Preheat oven to 375-degrees.
Unfold breadstick dough and cut each length in half. Press halved pieces of dough flat to widen them. Divide most of the cheese equally between the 24 pieces of dough, pressing lightly to make cheese adhere to dough. Place a single olive at the center of each. Fold dough over olive and crimp edges to seal. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top of puffs. Bake 14 minutes, or until puffs are golden brown and cheese has melted.
Serve immediately.
